During the visit to the Majorcan shipyard, where electric boats are manufactured, the Vice President and Minister of Energy Transition of the Balearic Islands Government, Juan Pedro Yllanes, reported the launch of the Balearic Islands Energy Transition Investment Plan (PITEIB) worth 25 million euros. These funds will be used to contribute towards the decarbonization of the nautical sector and to promote renewable generation facilities in ports.
The founding partner of Nauta Morgau, Marc Balaguer, accompanied the regional authorities during their visit to the shipyard, located in the Majorcan town of Felanitx, which promotes the decarbonization of the nautical sector by manufacturing electric boats.
Nauta Morgau constructs electric boats for the company eBoats Experience, while eBoats rents these boats. OK Yachts is a majority shareholder and investor.
